This day, August 7th, 2010, is my Mom & Dad’s 64th wedding Anniversary. They eloped from Salina, and knocked on the parsonage’s door to find a pastor to be married. The pastor obliged and they were married at your church by Pastor Fuller Bergstresser, at 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 7, 1926. which was the hottest day in 1926 They are both doing well at the ages of 87 (Gwendolyn Rosalie Pickard) and 90 (”Bud” – given name, Enid Laverne Larson) that night. I just wanted to let your congregation know the legacy they were a part of. Thank you all for being an important part of my brother’s and my past! Bless you all!

I totally go along you! I have often felt that way but nobody really would like to take it as seriously as we do apparently. Excellent blog anyway, I am going to have to stop by more frequently.
